What is My Adventure Book?

My Adventure Book is a service that creates personalized children's books with your child as the main character. Each story is unique and tailored to your child. The books are filled with beautiful illustrations and adventurous stories that make your child feel special.

The process is simple: 1. Click "Get Started" or on your name if you're logged in -> Create a new story. 2. Describe your child 3. Choose a theme or come up with one using our AI - 3a. If you want your child to learn something specific, you can specify it under "Should the story teach something" 4. Choose the style the images should be made in, or come up with one using our AI 5. Review the pages created by AI; if they are as you want, continue. 6. AI now creates a character used in the story, based on the information you've provided. 7. Character reference approval, and the story is created as a preview, with the first 3 images, and all text pages. 8. You can now choose to purchase the book; once done, the images are finalized. 9. You can purchase a printed book as an add-on.

Are the books printed or digital?

Both if you want! Once you've purchased access to the full book, you can add the option to have it sent to you in hardcover.

What languages can I choose?

How much does it cost to have a book made?

It varies depending on whether you just want to buy a single one or if you want a subscription. Additionally, you can purchase the option to have it printed. You can see our prices here: https://mineventyrbog.dk/en/pricing

When can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel it anytime, with no commitment. Of course, we believe people will be happy with their subscription, so there is no binding.

What happens if I don't use all my monthly books?

Unused books are not carried over to the next month and are therefore lost if they are not used in time.

Can I buy a single book without a subscription?

Yes, you can buy as many as you like beyond your subscription.

We accept payments via Stripe with most credit and debit cards. The payment is securely handled through our payment partner.

What is included in a book?

Each book contains a personalized story with your child's name and details, along with beautiful illustrations on every page. The story is unique and tailored to the chosen theme and illustration style.

What themes can I choose from?

We have a variety of themes like Space Explorer, Jungle Safari, Deep Sea Diver, The Magic World, and many more. New themes are added regularly. You can also create your own, and if you need help, you can use our AI by simply typing in keywords.

Can I customize the story?

Yes, you can customize the story by choosing your child's name, the character's appearance, theme, and illustration style. The story will then be generated personally for your child.

Can I edit a book after it has been created?

You cannot edit an existing book, but you can always create a new one with updated details. All your previous books remain accessible in your dashboard. We are working on making it possible so that it can be customized further.

How long does it take to generate a book?

Generating a book usually takes a few minutes.

What styles are available?

What if my pictures don't turn out well?

If there are any pictures that don't turn out well, you can request new ones completely free of charge after your purchase, and we will generate some new ones for you. Note: It may take up to 48 hours for this to be done.

What if I am unhappy with the book?

If you are unhappy with the book, you are welcome to contact us at support@mineventyrbog.dk so we can find a solution! Remember to read through the book before proceeding with the purchase. As a general rule, there is no right of withdrawal, but we will of course do our best to make everyone happy!

Which devices can I read the books on?

You can read the books on your phone, tablet, and computer, so you're not limited! And they can be downloaded as PDFs.

How do I download my book?

When the book is finished being created, there will be a "Download PDF" button on the book in your dashboard.

Yes, we take data protection very seriously. If you choose to upload a picture of your child / their toy, only you and the Administrator on the site can see it. Furthermore, we only work with solutions that promise that the data we provide will not be used for further training: OpenAI: Used to generate the story. Google (Gemini): Used to generate images. You can read more in our privacy policy.

How do I delete my account?

In the control panel, there is a delete account button, then you just need to confirm. Your account will then be deleted automatically. Remember to download your books beforehand, as they will be deleted along with the account. NOTE: It is not possible to change after you have confirmed.
