1. General Information

These terms apply to the purchase of unique, AI-generated children's books at mineventyrbog.dk

2. Ordering and Preview Approval

Our products are created uniquely for you using AI. To ensure your satisfaction, the ordering process works as follows:

  • Preview: Before purchase, you are presented with the full text of the story, the character's appearance, and the first three pages of the book with illustrations.

  • Approval: By completing the purchase, you approve the displayed content (text and visual style). You agree that the remaining images are generated automatically after purchase in the same style as the preview.

3. Payment

We accept payment via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, MobilePay, etc.). All prices are in DKK. The payment is processed when the generation of the full book begins.

4. Right of Withdrawal (Special Terms)

Since the books are custom-made and personalized for each child, the following applies according to the Consumer Contracts Act § 18, section 2, no. 3:

  • No right of withdrawal: There is no right of withdrawal for the purchase of either digital or printed books once the production of the personalized content has begun.

  • Digital delivery: When purchasing digital products, you agree that delivery begins immediately, and the right of withdrawal thus expires.

5. Disclaimer for AI Content

The books are generated by advanced artificial intelligence (OpenAI GPT and Google Gemini). The customer accepts the following premises:

  • Artistic interpretation: Illustrations are AI interpretations and not photorealistic portraits. Variations in details, colors, and anatomical features (artifacts) may occur.

  • Textual variations: Although we strive for high quality, AI-generated text may contain unique expressions. Since the customer has full preview access before purchase, the content of the text is not considered a defect.

  • Limitations: Our liability is limited to the value of the purchased product.

6. Copyright and Use

  • Private use: The purchase grants the customer perpetual usage rights for the book for private, non-commercial use.

  • Customer's responsibility: By uploading images or entering names, the customer guarantees they have the necessary rights and that the content does not infringe third-party copyright.

  • Copyright infringements: We do not manually review all unique books. If you find content that infringes copyright, please contact us immediately for removal or re-delivery.

7. Delivery of Printed Books

Physical books are shipped via our printing partner. Delivery time is usually [5-10] business days. The risk passes to you upon receipt.

8. Complaint Rights

We offer a 2-year warranty in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act for manufacturing defects (e.g., printing errors or damage during shipping). The warranty does not cover dissatisfaction with the AI's artistic style or the customer's own spelling errors that could have been identified during the preview phase.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Any disputes are settled under Danish law by the Danish courts.
