At Min Eventyr Bog, we take the protection of your and your child's data very seriously. Since we create unique products for children, we have an extra focus on security and transparency. This policy explains how we handle your information.

2. What information do we collect?
To provide the service, we collect the following information:
User Data: Email address for account creation, encrypted password, and order management.
Child's Data: First name, age, interests, and a description of the child's appearance.
Pictures: Photos of the child and possibly their toys, uploaded for character generation.
Delivery Data: Full name and physical address (collected via Stripe only when purchasing a printed book).
3. Purpose and legal basis
We process the information to be able to:
Deliver the product: We use your data to generate the story and images specifically for you and send the book to your address if purchased.
Security: Protect your account and personal files.
Optimization: Improve our AI prompts to give you the best possible result.
4. About uploaded images
We take extra care of the images you upload:
Protected storage: Images are stored in a closed, protected folder on our servers.
Limited access: Access to the image is only given to you (when logged in) and to our administration in necessary support cases.
Future use: We store the image on your profile so you can easily create new books.
5. Disclosure to third parties (Sub-processors)
We use trusted partners to deliver the service via secure API connections:
OpenAI (GPT): Receives the child's first name, age, and interests to generate the story text. - Not used for retraining OpenAI's models.

Google (Gemini Paid Tier): Receives the child's appearance (description or photo) to generate illustrations. - These are not used for retraining Google's models.

Note: Terms are written for us as a company (My Adventure Book).
Stripe: Handles all payments and securely collects billing information.
Printing House: Receives your name, address, and the finished book file when ordering a physical print.
We never share sensitive personal information such as your email or payment card details with our AI partners.
6. Storage and deletion
Order information: Stored for 5 years in accordance with the Bookkeeping Act.
Images and profile: Stored as long as your account is active. You can withdraw your consent at any time and request the image to be deleted by contacting us or deleting your profile.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
Access the information we hold about you and your child.
Request correction of incorrect information or deletion of your data.
Withdraw your consent to image storage.
8. Complaint rights
